Dear Friends,
It has been a devastating week for our country, and for all of us at GAI who have spent so many years studying, following, and working in Congress. We care deeply about this institution and send our thoughts to all those who were affected by last week’s events and continue to struggle with their aftermath. Informing and strengthening democracy is our lives’ work. We wish for justice for those responsible, and a stronger, more democratic nation as we move forward.
While we all work to make sense of what happened and what comes next, GAI remains committed to our mission of educating people about the legislative branch and helping them better understand and appreciate the critical role of the United States Congress.
