Where to Stay

All of the inter-agency courses conducted by the Government Affairs Institute are conducted in the House and Senate office buildings on Capitol Hill (unless otherwise indicated).

Participants are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements. However, listed here are some hotels that are within a reasonable distance from Capitol Hill. The prevailing government per diem may be available with valid government identification, but you should confirm this when making your reservation.

Please note, we have heard from some of our participants that the hotels in Rosslyn and Crystal City are more reasonable for per diem purposes. They are also conveniently located near National Airport. Metrorail is accessible to these hotels in Virginia and provide an easy way of getting to Capitol Hill.
