Orientation
The orientation begins in early December and covers congressional organization and process, as well as methods and support in securing an assignment with the Congress. Fellows start assignments in early to mid-January.

Fellows serve in a full-time assignment on the staff of a Member, committee, or support agency of Congress in Washington, D.C.
The Program is offered as a 7- or 12-month session, both of which begin with an orientation in December.
